In every Indian home, the day starts with a deepa. We bring those deepas, pooja items and silver to your shop, at rates lower than anyone else.

01Our rates

Why our rates are lower.

Normally, a brass deepa passes through 4 or 5 middlemen before it reaches your shop. Each one adds his commission. We buy direct from the karigars, so you don't pay for the middlemen.

03Our story

From the karigar's hands to your shop.

Chapter I

The Deepa

तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय

Lead me from darkness to light.

In our homes, the deepa is lit every evening. Grandmothers give their lamps to their daughters, and they give them to theirs.

A good brass deepa lasts for generations. That's why we only sell heavy, well-made pieces.

Chapter II

The Metal

Brass is copper and zinc, melted together in fire. Silver is for every good start: a baby's first spoon, the plate at a wedding, the coin on Akshaya Tritiya.

For both, our rule is simple. Correct weight, good finish, fair rate.

Chapter III

The Karigars

One deepa passes through many hands. One karigar makes the sand mould. One pours the hot metal. One shapes it on the lathe. One carves the design by hand. At the end, it is polished with tamarind, the old way.
